Doon Valley Cricket Club
Annual trip to Arran - the trip was only possible with the help of funding from the Cumnock and Doon Valley Minerals Trust.
The Doon team, largely made up of youngsters, gave a good account of themselves with the highlight when youngster Bradley Kirkwood bowled two of Arran’s good batsmen for low scores while captain Alan McDonald hit 35.
Doon were well beaten but gave a good all round effort.
