Super six from South Ayrshire swim in for finals
SIX swimmers from South Ayrshire swim team, in association with South Ayrshire Council, qualified for the Scottish National Age Group Long Course Championships at Tollcross, Glasgow.
They achieved 24 personal best times and 11 finalist positions during a very successful meet. The swimmers were accompanied by Steven Tigg, the club's new head performance coach.
Finalists were: Scott Jackson (13) silver 100m fly, 4th in 100m free, 5th in 200m free, 7th in 200m IM, 400m free, 800m free, 8th in 200m back, 10th in 200m fly.
Craig Corson (14) 9th in 200m back, 400m IM; 10th in 200m IM 200m free; Alix Picken (14) 8th in 100m free.
