He was one shot ahead of Scot Brown (Turnberry) with David Wilson (Welbeck) third with 75.

The first class winner was Sean Thorburn from Belleisle with ( 9) 67. Second was Grant Clark from Welbeck with (7) 71 (BIH). Third was last year's overall winner Craig Telfer from St Cuthbert with (5) 71. Fourth was David Brown (St Cuthbert) with (6) 71.

Second class: Greg Telfer (St C) (16) 65; Brad Cathie (Ravenspark) (15) 68; Alan Devlin (St N) (18) 69 (BIH); Marc Reid (St C) (20) 69. The under 16 section was won by Scot Johnston (St C) with 75. Runner-up was Rory McKenzie with 79.

Nearest the hole prizes: 7th: Patrick Timmons (St Meddans) 6 ft 2 ins; 9th: Michael Webster (St C) 6 ft 2 ins; 17th: Nicholas Cameron (Belleisle) 4 ft 3 ins. The competition CSS was 71.
