Ayr Rugby Club sign old favourite Calum Forrester

AN old Millbrae favourite and one of Scotland’s most talented young backs are Ayr Rugby Club’s first signings of the close season.

Flanker Calum Forrester, who played in Ayr’s championship winning team of 2008-09, returns for a second stint.

He heads to Ayr despite several other offers after his contract at Glasgow Warriors was not renewed.

Also joining up is Warriors apprentice Finn Russell who is currently in South Africa with the Scotland under 20 squad at the junior world championship.
