IT’S hairy times at Ayr Rugby Club as the Millbrae men try to win the Premier crown for the first time in their history.
And the hardy bunch want to make the title drive no close shave.
The Millbrae stalwarts are taking part in Movember – a moustache growing charity event which raises funds and awareness for men’s health.
And they’ve already proved they are a cut above by raising £600.
Meanwhile, Ayr kept on course with a super 29-0 win over fallen border giants Hawick.
They now head to Watsonians on Saturday before entertaining second top Heriot’s in a crunch.
