Millbrae XV pull clear at top
TABLE topping Millbrae XV strengthened their lead in Regional Division Two with a 34-10 win away to Strathaven.
The home team piled on the early pressure but to no avail. Millbrae then clicked into gear and tries followed from Gordon Tulloch (2), Nigel Howard, Stuart Paterson, Al McGregor and John Glen. Phil Manning kicked two conversions.
Strathaven scored two tries, one in each half, but never really troubled the hot Ayr side.
