Ayr Rugby Club youth players chosen for camp

AYR Rugby Club youth players Jackson Rountree and James Stirling have been selected by the SRU to attend the national development camp at Struan, Perthshire.

The boys have received this honour in recognition of their outstanding performances this season for Ayr RFC under 16s (unbeaten in Glasgow league), Ayrshire Kestrels (unbeaten in National Pathway series) and for the Glasgow District Side.

Both are fourth year pupils at Kyle Academy and are eagerly looking forward to this week long camp with its high intensity training and the chance to live and learn with other players from all over Scotland.

The August camp has previously seen many current and past international players receive their first national recognition here.
