Ayr Hockey stars compete in West District festival

AYR Hockey Club’s under 14 starred at the West District festival at Clydesdale on Sunday.
In their first four games they drew with Kelburne ‘A’, Western, Clydesdale and Greenock.
However, they saved their best performance for the last game when they comprehensively beat Kelburne ‘B’, passing the ball superbly with some flowing end to end moves.
There were great performances from Aston Kerr, Ralph Wiseman and man of the match Charlie Adams.
Other team members who all contributed to a great day were Joe Cherry, Colin Forsyth, Adam Kidd, Jamie Paton and Fraser Macdonald.
