Seaforth star Toni is best of British
SUPER Ayr Seaforth star Toni McIntosh was best of British in the Great Scottish Run on Sunday.
She won £700 for being first Briton and sixth female in 78 mins 31 secs.
Toni, 29, said: “I had been going through a bad patch and managed only two weeks of proper training so it was a big comeback for me. Now I’m going to do the Dublin Marathon at the end of the month.”
Toni’s twin sister Laura Wallace ran a personal best 1.33 for the Glasgow course. She’s off to the New York Marathon in November.
