A NEW best time was recorded in the six mile Cairn Table Run at Muirkirk.
Last year’s winning time of 33.48 was beaten by race newcomer Tom Owens from Shettleston Harriers finishing in 31.08 minutes, the quickest time recorded since the race was re-introduced by East Ayrshire Council in 2005.
