Kerry-Liam's race to victory

ON FORM Kerry-Liam Wilson won the Culzean 10k race for the third consecutive year.

The Girvan man beat 233 other runners in the race at Culzean Castle and Country Park on Sunday to come home in 29 mins 58 secs.

Described as the most scenic fun run route in Britain, participants could be distracted from the pain by the beautiful spring woodland and views.

Property manager Paul Pomfret said: “This popular annual event would not happen without the help of a large number of volunteers. They put in a total of 139 hours on the day registering the runners, stewarding the course, manning the refreshment points, timing all the runners and producing the results.”
