Hat trick for Ayr Seaforth's Toni

SUPER Ayr Seaforth flier Toni McIntosh made it three wins out of three in the Grand Prix 10k series.

Toni, 29 followed up her wins at Grangemouth and Motherwell by winning at Balmoral in 37 mins 05 secs. This weekend, she runs a 20 miler from Edinburgh to North Berwick in preparation for the Edinburgh Marathon on May 31.

Seaforth are still waiting to learn how they fared in the opening meeting of the Central and South of Scotland League Division One.

Computer failure at Grangemouth on Sunday means final results were still being calculated early this week.

Ayrshire Harriers line up in the first meeting of the Scottish Young Athletes League at Linwood on Sunday.

Seaforth stars Meghan Logue, Andrew McElwee, Neil Burnside and Donnie MacLeod will run for West Coast in a new inter regional championship for the Innes Trophy at Wishaw Leisure Centre on Sunday May 10.

The previous day, Seaforth will have two teams in a new Scotland under 13 super team event, also at Wishaw. The second event is at Grangemouth on August 15. These replace the long standing district championships which are cancelled.
