Ayr Seaforth girl in cap call
AYR Seaforth's rising endurance star Sarah Cassells has been selected to run for Scotland at the Celtic Nations Cross Country International in Cardiff on January 18.
The 14-year-old will compete in the under 17 women’s race despite being only in the first year of the under 15 age group.
Her Scottish vest caps a remarkable 2007 for Sarah who won the Scottish cross country title at under 13 level in February as well as the Scottish Schools 1500m title in June. More recently took the West District cross country crown in the under 15 age group.
