Ayr Seaforth girls star at Celtic Games
TWO Ayr Seaforth 13-year-olds starred for a Scotland under 16 team in the Celtic Games at Grangemouth.
Caroline George was third in a high standard 200 metres in 26.14 secs. A Welsh girl won the race in a new Games record of 24.82 secs.
Rachel Whittle won an invitation 100 metres in 12.72 secs.
The two girls head to the English Championships in Birmingham this weekend. Other Seaforth members take part in the final match of the Central and South of Scotland League at East Kilbride on Sunday where the club needs a good turnout to do well.
