AYR Seaforth athletes struck gold at the Scottish Masters track and field championships at Pitreavie.
David Phillips won double gold in the M50’s 100 metres (12.43 secs) and the 200 metres (25.7 secs).
Current world 400 metres hurdles champion Bobby Stevenson won the Scottish equivalent 400 metres hurdles (M55) in 61.6 secs.
Then he added the long jump with 5.68 metres.
In the M35 group, David Gemmell was third in a fast 100 metres (12.05 secs) and was fourth in the long jump (4.81 metres).
Gwen McFarlane had four firsts in the W50 field events, winning the hammer (26.51), discus (22.12), shot putt (8.05) and javelin (19.34).
Norman Bruce won the W40 javelin with 26.50 metres.
Glen Harrower, after an absence of six years off the track, was first in the M65-70’s 100 metres in 17 secs.
John McGarry (Irvine AC) won the M55’s 100 metres (13.04) and 200 metres (26.35).
