Graeme Gimson bids for Prestwick Links hat-trick

GRAEME GIMSON is bidding to make it three in a row in the Prestwick Links Championship.

The St Cuthbert man, who won the title the last two years, is chasing the 55th Nickson Trophy which tees off on Monday.

A record 108 play rounds over St Cuthbert and St Nicholas with the top 16 scratch scores going forward to matchplay at Prestwick from Wednesday.

The next eight best net scores go into the Boyd Trophy. Both finals at Prestwick on Saturday, May 29.
