Turnberry teenager meets Sergio Garcia
A TEENAGE golfer from Turnberry had a round to remember when he partnered European legend Sergio Garcia.
Ayrshire boys' champion Scott Brown rubbed shoulders with the stars when he took part in the pro am event at the Dubai Desert Classic.
The new owners of Turnberry had invited the youngster to celebrate his fine season last year.
With temperatures up to 33 degrees, Scott's team scored ten under par, finishing three behind the winners.
While in Dubai, Scott also played the Montgomerie course and the Els club. And he met a hot of top pros including Darren Clark, Colin Montgomerie, Lee Westwood, Martin Kaymer, Richard Karllson and Justin Rose.
Scott also met the winner, Rory McIlroy, just ten minutes after the Irishman clinched his first European Tour title.
