St Meddans are set for summer

EIGHTEEN clubs will line up in this season's Ayrshire Summer (scratch) League.

Ayr Dalmilling and Moorpark have dropped out but Troon St Meddans have returned, in their centenary year, alongside Beith, Largs and Prestwick St Cuthbert who will all take part this season.

The winners of the two leagues featuring three clubs will play off for a place in the semi-finals alongside the winners of the other three leagues. Qualifying matches will be played from May to August.

Draw details: league one: Belleisle, St Cuthbert, Ballochmyle, Caprington; league two: St Meddans, West Kilbride, Ardeer, Loudoun; league three: Kilbirnie Place, Annanhill, Ravenspark, Irvine (Bogside); league four: Beith, Tam O'Shanter, Kilmarnock (Barassie); league five: Welbeck, New Cumnock, Largs.
