Belleisle golfer beaten in junior champions event

JAMES Acheson (Largs Routenburn) won the Ayrshire Junior Golf League's champion of champions competition when he beat Sean Thorburn (Belleisle) 4&3 at Caprington.
In the final of the League Championship, Largs beat West Kilbride 4-2.
THE final of the Ayrshire Fourball Championship takes place at Prestwick St Nicholas on Tuesday October 21with a 10.45am tee off.
It will be contested by John Campbell and Robin Paton (West Kilbride) against Chris and Alan Bone (Loudoun).
