Troon's David tees up junior open

THIRTEEN year-old David Wilson from Troon Welbeck fired a super net 65, off three, to win the Prestwick St Nicholas Junior Open which drew a field of 138 competitors. His one under gross score won him the Leonard Trophy.

Runner-up was Scott Clark (Belleisle) on 70. Third: Andrew Wright (Barassie) 71; Fourth: Fraser Lawrie (West Kilbride) 71. Best net: Jack Rees (St Cuthbert) (19) 60.
