SCOTT McCAHILL (Maybole) fired a scatch 65 to win the Valspar Trophy in the Maybole Open, which was sponsored by John Cuthbert Groundworks. The Kidd Cup for the best net went to Stuart Maxwell (Brunston) with a 61.
