STEVEN WALLACE (Prestwick St Cuthbert) led from the front to win the Ayrshire Strokeplay Championship at Prestwick Golf Club on Sunday.
Plus two handicapper Wallace, a Scottish Amateur Championship semi finalist in 2002 and multiple winner of the Tam O’Shanter, won his first Ayrshire county title by two strokes from Paul Moultrie (Troon Portland) after leading the field by one shot after the first round.
