Advanced Soccer Academy is taking off at Prestwick

BUDDING young footballers are flocking to the Advanced Soccer Academy which meets on the astro grass at Prestwick Academy.

Formed just over a year ago, it has grown from strength to strength and has recently placed boys at senior clubs Kilmarnock, St Mirren and Clyde.

The Academy restarts on Sunday, January 30 at 5.30pm and caters for ages six to 19.

Academy director Matt Maley works with head of coaching Craig Clark.

Matt said: “We are now looking for boys and girls of all ages to play in our development squads against pro-youth and initiative clubs. We are also looking for 17-year-olds plus who are at the level to play junior football.”
