MORE than 2000 youngsters descended on Ayr to contest the 18th annual Scotland Cup Land O’Burns Festival.
Teams from around Britain competed in the top event, which drew large crowds as ever.
Local success was unfortunately in short supply, but a couple of South Ayrshire sides did manage to get their hands on silverware.

Age 15: Larkhall Utd 0, Rangers SABC 1.
Age 16: Ayr Boswell 0, Renfrew Victoria 1.
Age 17 Cup winners: Hillwood Boys Club.

Age 15: East Kilbride Burgh Utd 1, Baljaffray FC 0.
Age 16: Lancraigs FC 1, East Kilbride Youth Club 2.
Age 17 winners: Bonnyton Thistle FC.
