Auchinleck Talbot are looking gr-eight

TOMMY SLOAN insists goal happy Auchinleck Talbot are in great shape for the big kick-off after taking their tally to eight in four days.

And the boss says he isn’t fazed by the fact that, as Scottish Cup winners, they’ll be viewed by others as the team to shoot down.

He said: “I don’t mind that at all although I sure the likes of Irvine Meadow and Pollok will have something to say about that.

“We have moved on only one or two players from last season so have virtually the same squad. We are still trying to add but the players I am after are not for sale at their clubs.

“I thought we looked good in our opening games but not quite so good against Annbank but give credit to them for a good display.”
