THE sixth annual Southside Soccer Week will attract another bumper turnout when it takes place at Rozelle from Monday to Friday, July 6 to 10.
The event’s aim is to share the christian faith through sport. Organisers are the Southside Christian Fellowship.
Morning sessions for P1 to P7 take place from 10am to 12.30pm each day with football, coaching, games and competitions. Cost is £30 for the week.
Evenings for secondary school age groups S1-S3 and S4-S6 will include seven-a-side competitions each night. Teams of up to 10 players may enter.
Cost is £5 per player for the whole week, 6pm to 9pm each night. Register your team on the first night.
A holiday club for primary age children takes place from 2-4pm each weekday and costs £10 for the week.

Southside under 12s rounded off their successful season by winning the invitation only Lenzie Youth Tournament.
A neat finish by Scott McLean gave them a 1-0 win over Airdrie. Then they drew 2-2 with Lenzie thanks to goals from McLean and Shaun McKenzie.
They completed the group games with a 3-0 win over Westerton with goals from Ross Black, Calum Irving and Lewis Hunter.
The final was a rematch against the hosts and this time Southside took control from the first whistle to win 6-1.
Scorers in a fine performance were McKenzie (4), Patrick Hamill and McLean.
