TROON Amateurs Boys’ Club 17s have been crowned West of Scotland League champions after beating Winlinton Wolves 4-0 in their final game.
They now join previous prestigious winners, Glenafton, Dean Thistle and Hurlford BC after losing only one league game all season. They pipped Scottish Cup winners Caledonian for the title.
Manager Iain Bateman said: “It has been a fantastic effort by all the players and staff to win the league in our third year of existence. To win the last 10 games in a row with four clean sheets in the last five shows their commitment and desire.”
