Belmont Academy girl picked to play for Scotland
FOOTBALL daft Emily Irving has been picked for Scotland.
The Belmont Academy pupil will rub shoulders with players four years her senior in an international at Prestwick.
Emily, 13, is making her mark with Caledonian girls but also trains with Hamilton Accies under 15s.
And she came through two trials to be selected for Scotland 17s in a Clubs Young People tournament at Caledonian Youth Club from May 23 to 25.
Mum Tricia said: “Emily has been crazy on football since she was five.”
