Troon Ladies are city slickers
TROON ladies kept up their winning form with a 3-1 victory against old rivals Team Strathclyde at Glasgow Green.
Keeper Fiona Reid made a couple of fine saves in a goalless first-half before Steph McDonald scored with a diving header from a Fiona Woods corner.
The hosts equalised from a suspiciously offside position but Troon went back in front when Woods was fouled for a penalty which she converted herself.
Siobhan Kerr wrapped up the points when she timed her run to force home a Claire Masterton cross. On Sunday, Troon travel to face Clyde.
