Dam Park to host two school cup finals
DAM Park hosts two Ayrshire primary schools cup finals on Friday.
The small primaries cup final is at 6.15pm when Corsehill or St Cuthberts (Maybole) take on Castle PS (New Cumnock) or St Patricks (Auchinleck).
In the large primaries cup final at 7.15pm, Crosshouse play Galston, Hayocks (Stevenston), Alloway or St Johns (Ayr).
Holders East Ayrshire primary school have reached the final of the Scottish primary schools cup for the second year on the trot after beating Dumfries and Galloway 3-2 at Lugar.
It is now a repeat of last year’s final against Glasgow RC Schools FA.
The final, at Dam Park, is provisionally set for Monday June 16.
Grange Academy won the Ayrshire Under 14 Cup, beating Largs Academy 3-2 on penalties after a 3-3 extra-time draw.
Scorers for Grange were David Cassidy (2) and Stuart Hunter. On the mark for Largs were Euan Souttar, Victor Allan and Todd Baker-Flanagan.
