GIRVAN are looking for a new manager after Willie Thomson quit on Monday evening.
Thomson, who led Girvan to fourth place in the First Division, was only one win away from steering them into a Premier League play-off against Glenafton.
He has cited family commitments for his decision to leave Hamilton Park after two seasons.
Secretary Ronnie Hutcheson said: “Willie did a superb job but we understand his reasons. There is no other club involved.”
Girvan could turn to a present player to fill the hot seat but are inviting applicants. Call Ronnie on 01465 714780.
