Auchinleck Talbot up for a cup cracker
AUCHINLECK Talbot are 9/2 third favourites for the Citylink Scottish Junior Cup after pulling a last eight tie at home to Arthurlie.
Talbot boss Tommy Sloan said: “Arthurlie are going well but then so are we. It’s a home tie so I have no complaints.”
Irvine Meadow and Pollok, who clash at MeadowPark, are 3/1 joint favourites with William Hill.
Meadow boss Chris Strain said: “The big four have all been drawn against each other so if we go through, it opens it right up. I’m quietly optimistic.”
Other ties: Petershill or Montrose Roselea v Carnoustie or Clydebank; Newtongrange v Rob Roy. Ties due on Saturday, March 14 (kick-offs 2.30pm).
