SUMMER football is on the cards for junior football, if clubs want it.
SJFA chiefs are looking at changing the calendar after a winter of fixture chaos. More than 300 west region games have already been lost.
SJFA secretary Tom Johnston said: “This winter has been particularly bad so we are revisiting the old question and asking clubs for their views. We will ask clubs if they want summer football, a mid season break or status quo.
“Winter kicked in during November and since then there has been only a couple of days respite.”
The SJFA management committee will discuss the issue on March 11.
