Glenafton Juniors sign new keeper

GLENAFTON have boosted their last line of defence by snapping up keeper Chris Fahey from Raith Rovers.

Fahey, 30, made 48 appearances with the Kirkcaldy club after previous spells with Albion Rovers and Larkhall. As Fahey joins up, veteran keeper Garry Matthews steps on to the coaching staff.

Two new faces are attacking midfielder Chris Cameron (Neilston) and defender Andy Ward (East Kilbride Thistle). John Paul Grant has signed a new deal with captain Willie Howie also expected to return.

Glens face Stirling Albion in the East Kilbride tournament on Saturday at 3.30pm. In the other game, East Kilbride play Preston Athletic. The final and third/fourth place play-off is on Sunday.
