AYR United 19s marchedinto the fourth round of the Scottish Youth Cup and a home tie against Inverness after beating Brechin 3-1.
Man of the match Mark Shankland fired them ahead with a 25 yarder. Then four minutes into the second-half, he did even better with a 30 yarder.
Shankland then turned provider with an inch perfect pass for Ian Aitken to run on to and finish cooly past the keeper.
Brechin got a consolation goal when a clearance sent goalwards was deflected over Bobby McLatchie.
Ayr 17s beat Queen’s Park in a top of the league clash.
Queen’s raced ahead in 10 minutes but Adam Fraser equalised from a tight angle after an excellent pass from Chris Kelly.
Man of the match Andy McCormick bulleted in a header before Dillon Welsh set up Sean Robertson to lob home from 18 yards.
Fraser added another but Queen’s got a consolation from the last kick.
Coach Davie White said: “The players showed character and commitment to produce a result against a resilient Queen’s Park.
“Our first half display was the deciding factor and we looked in control from then until the end.”
Ayr 16s kept up their good form when they beat Dundee at Prestwick Academy.
McCarrison fired them ahead only for Dundee to quickly equalise.
Nisbett restored the lead with a clever chip but Dundee again struck back. McCarrison put Ayr back in front from a Nisbett run.
Nisbett rounded the goalie for Ayr’s third but Dundee again levelled. Nisbett was then pulled down for a penalty which he converted himself.
The Ayr defence, well marshalled by McCracken, Campbell and Vance, kept the Dundee attack under control. Dundee got a consolation near the end. Mom: Stevie McCreadie.

The 13s took a while to get going against Partick Thistle.
Daniel McAlllister fired them ahead from a Ryan Speirs cross. Then Will Graham turned at the edge of the box to fire a superb shot into the top corner.
Man of the match Euan McCance added a quick double before goals from Jamie Martin and Daniel McAllister put Ayr out of sight,
Thistle got one back before Jackson Sivewright tapped in. Thistle got a second before McCance struck again. Ayr conceded a third but Ryan Speirs had the last word.
