CALLING all football mad youngsters. Ayr United are holding a series of Easter camps for ages three to 12.
Ayr’s Pro Soccer is the venue on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday April 7 to 9. There will be coaching, a chance to meet the first team players and two tickets for an Ayr game.
Ages three to four play from 12pm to 1pm (cost £10) while ages five to 12 play from 1-3pm (cost £24). Participants should bring snack and drink.
Bookings are limited to 30 per age group. Contact Shaun Ferrie at Somerset Park (tel: 263435).
Camps are also held in the second Easter holiday week at activity centres in Coylton, Mossblown, Muirhead, Dundonald and Carrick Academy.
United’s football in the community programme now runs a record 60 weekly soccer courses throughout South Ayrshire.
Meanwhile, they are linking up with the SFA to give girls some free coaching.
Ayr United FC and the SFA are offering girls aged seven to 13 a free coaching session at Pro Soccer on Monday April 6 from 10am to 4pm.
Everyone who attends will also receive two free tickets for the Scotland women’s challenge match against Italy at Rugby Park two days later.
