Kneesy does it

RYAN BORRIS kneed in an equaliser to spare Ayr's blushes but a 1-1 draw at home to Queen’s Park last Wednesday was two dropped points which could come home to haunt.

Only four days after winning 3-0 at Hampden, United were staring defeat when debutant Steven Odenewo walked the ball round Stephen Grindlay after 34 minutes.

Borris bundled home Kenny Connolly's cross seven minutes after the restart but despite Queen's having James Brough sent off, Ayr couldn't cash in.
