Ayr United sit proudly at the top of the second division after Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Arbroath. Goals from Ryan Stevenson and Bryan Prunty gave Ayr victory after Kevin McMullan had put Arbroath in front.

Stevenson’s equaliser pulled Ayr level just after the hour mark and Prunty sealed the points with a late winner six minutes from time.
