Ex-Ayr boy Gaz misses out
AYR old boy Gareth Wardlaw will miss playing his former mates on Saturday after being booked playing for them AGAINST his new team.
Gaz was yellow carded for United when Raith won 1-0 at Somerset in April. And that took him over the points barrier, earning him a two game ban.
Gaz quipped: “It’s ironic that I was booked against Raith. I’m now a Rover but I was looking forward to playing against the team who gave me my big start in the game.”
