Ayr United strip to mark last Somerset Park term
AYR’S next strip will specially mark their last season at Somerset.
And the club are expecting a rush as fans clamour to snap up souvenirs.
Commercial director Hugh Cameron said: “Next year will be a special one — the end of football at Somerset Park.
“It’s been played there since 1888 when Ayr FC beat FA Cup winners Aston Villa 3-0.
“It wasn’t a bad start so we will be looking for a good finish as well.
“Next season’s shirts will be more special to mark the last campaign at Somerset and we expect there will be great demand.
