Ayr amateurs face cup crunch
AYR United Amateurs face the biggest game in their short history when they take on Partick Thistle in the League Cup semi-final at Petershill Juniors on Sunday.

Ayr go into the game on a low after losing 3-2 to Kerrydale Celtic at Prestwick Oval.
Celtic edged in front early on but a Dave Hainey strike and Willie Barclay’s penalty put Ayr ahead before the visitors hit back.
