THE juniors of Ambassador Prestwick moved into the semi finals of the Top Ten when they beat Inverclyde 54-52.
Jordan Slaven, the club's recently capped under 17 internationalist, lost 21-17 while the pairs fell 17-7. However, the triples and fours both recorded victories, 16-7 and 14-7 respectively, to seal the win.
They now return to Inverclyde on Sunday for the semi final, against either Blantyre or Buchan, hopefully followed by the final in the afternoon. The club will run a bus to Inverclyde with seats priced £8.

Jordan Slaven lost narrowly in the final of the Ayrshire junior singles againstArdrossan's Ally McCallum at the Galleon.
It was a closely fought game throughout with McCallum just getting the better over the final ends.
The club's senior fours side, skipped by Billy McArthur, also lost out in the final,16-8 to Auchinleck, while Nancy Gelleburn skipped her triples to an 18-10 win over Auchinleck.
The singles also went to Prestwick when Jamie Houston turned in a sparkling display to beat Ardrossan's Chris McKinnon 21-5.
The club's senior side failed in their bid to become Ayrshire League champions when they failed to secure the two points required for the title in their final league game, going down 8-0 against Ardrossan at the Galleon.
The club's internal competitions are now nearing completion with finals night scheduled for Friday, April 20.
Selected finals are played in the week leading up to finals night. The prize presentation will take place after the finals.
Summer leagues will operate throughout May, June, July and August at the club and bounce games can also be scheduled in to the programme when required.
