THE senior bowlers of Ambassador Prestwick Indoor continued their winning streak when they beat Paisley by seven shots at the Bellevue Road Stadium.
Wins for the quartets skipped by Morris Sturgeon, Michael Higgins and Alan Paxton were enough to compensate for the defeat suffered by the Billy McArthur four.
It sees them close the gap on section leaders Lanarkshire to two points.
The selectors name the following team for Saturday’s trip to Dumbarton: Rink 1: W Craig, H Berretti, A Thomson, W McArthur; Rink 2: W Kennedy, T Howson, J Fortune, M Higgins; Rink 3: S Watson, J Docherty, E Doolan, A Paxton; Rink 4: W Fulton, J Ross, J Reid, M Sturgeon. Reserves: J Lindsay, S Gibson, W Ferguson.
The gents suffered a 20 shot defeat away to bottom of the league Alloa and now sit only two points above them in second place in the Premier League.
Scores: C Lindsay 19, B Ramage 15; P Boyd 15, S Allan 33; D Boyd 16, K Storf 23; G Martin 16, I Inglis 15.
