Bowlers fly the flag for the Commonwealth Games

AUCHINLECK indoor bowlers sent their best wishes to club member Claire Johnston who begins her assault on the Commonwealth Games in Delhi next Saturday.

Other Ayrshire bowlers flying the flag are Troon’s Paul Foster and Michelle Cooper of Blacklands.

Auchinleck seniors beat Glasgow 76-44 at home in their first league match.

The ladies start their defence of the Premier League title away to Paisley from 2-6pm.

On Sunday, the Ayrshire Indoor Bowling ASssociation (ladies and gents) will play a friendly match at Auchinleck from 2-6pm.

Names are now being taken for the open triples on Sunday, November 7, sponsored by CISWO. Entries to the club.

Fees are due by September 30 when all entries for national competitions will close.
