AYRSHIRE’S bid for the Cities and Counties Championship ended in the semi-final with a 131-110 defeat to Midlothian at Crookston on Sunday.
Ayrshire matched their opponents for most of the match and were in the lead for a short period but Midlothian were the more determined to win and with a surge over the final ends pulled clear.
Midlothian now play Lanarkshire South in the final at Bainfield on Sunday at 1pm.
