HOLDERS Ayr marched into the second round of Ayr Trophies Committee’s Westwater Cup with a 68-53 win over Prestwick on Monday.

Other results: Kincaidston 61, Seafield 72; Wattfield 49, Hawkhill 67; Newton Park 59, Forehill 60. Quarter-finals on Monday are: Forehill v Craigie (at Wattfield); Ayr v Hawkhill (at Forehill); Northfield v Seafield (at Prestwick); Peter Boyle v Crooksmoss (at Kincaidston).

The four McLean Bowl ties at Crooksmoss, which were washed out last week, were due to be played on Wednesday evening.
