Prestwick seniors lose at Paisley

nPRESTWICK seniors lost68-43 at Paisley on Saturday but are still in a strongposition heading into their New Year home clash with Ayr (January 9).
Scores: Joe Reid 13, N. Rafferty 13; Michael Higgins 14, P. Toner 20; Cliff Eade 6, T. Pattison 15; Morris Sturgeon 10, D. Martin 20.
Paul Boyd and Craig Englandexited at the first hurdle when they were beaten 20-18 by Inverclyde in the national pairs while Val O'Neill and Rose-ena Smillie beat Fintry 24-13 before falling 28-18 to eventual qualifiers Ardrossan.
The club will close from Friday to Sunday, open again from Monday to Thursday before closing on January 1 and 2.
