AUCHINLECK indoor teams celebrated wins for the seniors and the ladies but the gents tumbled to defeat.
The seniors won 60-59 away to Lanarkshire. Scores: W. McArthur 18, W. Crooks 16; Dvd Mitchell 13, J. Keating 15; J.. McCracken 14, J. Watson 16; W. Sykes 15, P. Smellie 12.
The ladies beat Paisley 81-65 at home. Scores: J. Sykes 19, K. Houston 17; J. Williamson 18, H. Dobson 16; H. Kay 16, A. M. Fletcher 20; E. Magorian 28, J. Ritchie 12.
The gents crashed 83-60 away to Prestwick. Scores: S. Anderson 18, D. Boyd 21; D. McClue 13, P. Boyd 16; G. Johnstone 16, R. McCulloch 29; D. Watson 13, C. Smith 17.
On Saturday, the seniors entertain Newton Stewart from 11am to 2pm. Rink 1: D. Weir, G. Taylor, A. Reilly, Dvd Mitchell; Rink 2: I. Hall, G. Reid, C. Cathie, W. McArthur; Rink 3: A. Mitchell, J. McHallum, J. Mackenzie, J. McCracken; Rink 4: J. Rankin, W. Brown, T. Murdoch, W. Sykes.
The gents team entertain Midlothian from 2-6pm while Jean Sykes, Claire Johnston, Josephine Williamson and Elaine McKenzie travel to Perth for an SWIBA international trial at Perth.
On Sunday, Stewart Anderson and Scott McKenzie will play in a SIBA international trial match at Perth. At the club, in the Baird Bowl, Lugar will play Mauchline at noon.
The venue for the Ayrshire fours league is the Galleon where Auchinleck play Irvine.
