AUCHINLECK’S Stewart Anderson has booked a place in the Potters world indoor singles at Great Yarmouth in January.

He beat Willie Wood 5-4, 9-8 in the Scottish region event at Falkirk.

Stewart also played in PBA qualifier at Carlisle last weekend and booked himself a place in Scottish Open Championship held in Perth from November 7 when he will play David Gourlay.

Auchinleck seniors open against Nithsdale at Dumfries on Saturday.
