THE Bridgend Garage 3x3 competition finals were played at the club last Thursday.
Gents winners were Dougie Watson, Derek McClue and Stewart Anderson, who beat Neil Milgrew Joe Gration and Bill Kerr.
Ladies competition winners were Maureen Shimmons, Elaine McKenzie and Margo Harvey, who beat Kathy McGee, Isoble McKnight and Heather Kay.
Junior competition winners were Scot Wallace, Lauren McKenzie and Craig McClue, who beat John Duncan, Carrie McLean and Craig Wilson.

On Saturday, Tom and Mary Foster sponsored the adult and child competition. Winners were Craig Wilson and Wullie McLatchie, who beat Alan and Carrie McLean by six shots to four in the final.
On Sunday, the ladies team won the SWIBA league cup final when they beat Arbroath by 12 shots.

The ladies retained their title as the best team in Scottish women’s bowls.
This week has been finals week at the club.
On Friday at 6.30pm, the following finals take place:
Ladies national singles: J. Williamson v J. Sykes; Gents national singles: S. anderson v G. Johnstone; Ladies under 25 singles: K. Armstrong v K. Young; Senior singles: J. Mackenzie v A. Reily; Junior section singles: Craig Wilson v Craig McClue.
Prize presentations will be after the games with a buffet to follow. All prizewinners will be asked to attend.
To finish the season the club will hold a cabaret/buffet on Friday, April 24.
